In 2010 "Knysna Golf Club" celebrated its 100th anniversary. Its beautiful location is alongside the Knysna Lagoon. 1998 many new ponds, canals and bunkers have been built to provide a demanding and eventful game for the golfer. Prospects of the lagoon and the surrounding mountains will make the game unforgettable. Manifold bird species and an old tree population form this beautiful parkland course.

This course designed by Jack Nicklaus stands out due to diversified landscapes, well placed bunkers and nice wavy fairways. It is situated beneath some hills which will protect you from the notorious coastal wind. Simola is without a doubt one of the best golf courses in the world.

The "Pezula Golf Course" has been built on the eastern Head of Knysna and offers truly a magnificent view. Even though it was opened just a few years ago it is already known as one of the best golf courses in South Africa. The architects David Dale and Ronald Fream used the variety of landscapes and the wonderful views for their diversified design of the wavy course which is very challenging.
